Eddy Street Commons is a mixed-use, new-urbanist, pedestrian-oriented development located immediately south of campus at the intersection of Eddy Street and Angela Boulevard. The master developer of the project is Kite Realty Group, a real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in Indianapolis. Eddy Street Commons offers:

Hotels: Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame is a 164 full-service hotel consisting of two-room suites (reservations 574-400-2600). The Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel is a 119-room limited-service (reservations 574-234-5510). Both hotels are located right on Angela Boulevard and offer unobstructed views of campus.
Rental Apartments: The Foundry North and The Foundry South offer luxury rental apartments in one-bedroom, two-bedroom and two-bedroom-plus-den configurations.
