Capital Planning

The Office of Treasury Services (OTS) is responsible for the University's capital planning program. OTS works with various university departments, including Development, Facilities Design & Operations and units within the Finance Division to ensure planned capital projects meet the thresholds of the University's Construction Funding Policy. In addition, OTS coordinates efforts to identify sufficient resources to support campus infrastructure needs.

The University's Construction Funding Policy sets forth the benchmarks required to ensure that sufficient funding is in place prior to the start of construction of any elective capital project. The most recent version of the policy was adopted by the Board of Trustees in March 2020.
